Your Little Jungle Lodge, is available nearly every day. The most it will cost is $99.50 per person per day, could be as low as $79.50 per person per day, depending on how many people are staying there.
So don’t forget to add a couple of days at Your Little Lodge, before or after your cruise.

Lifetime wish is for me to travel down the Amazon from Iquitos to Manaus then onwards towards probably Belem.
Do you go as far as Manaus. there will be two of us and we are looking to organise a trip jan/feb 2013.

Hello Glenis Thanks for contacting me. No Riverboats based in Iquitos can currently go beyond the Peruvian border. You must change boats at the border of Peru and Brazil, from Santa Rosa to Tabatinga.

I’ve enjoyed reading some of your posts and guest posts and I wondered if you could provide some information as I’m travelling to the area from Lima over the next couple of weeks.
I wonder if you’d be able to tell me how the Christmas and New Year period affects the river services between Yurimaguas and Iquitos. I wonder if it’ll mean much longer waits for boats to fill up and leave. I notice that your own routes aren’t running over this period, is that an indicator of river life in general?

Your rate is $199 per person per day X 4 days = $796 per person X 2 passengers = $1,592.

We are looking at doing a 3 day amazon cruise in September from around 16th September. I have read great reviews on trip advsisor but not sure what is on offer for 3 days. Hi Deb, Thanks for getting in touch with me. Our schedule is open for the Dawn on the Amazon expedition boat “around 16th September” for a 3 day cruise. The best 3 day cruise in the upper Amazon during the low water season of September is up the Nanay River into Allpahuyao Mishana National Reserve. You can visit villages, hike jungle trails, walk on white sand bars, wade and swim in the river, go fishing, look for tropical birds, wildlife, pink dolphins and more. Bill, we are working on a group situation for next summer, family members and close friends, 6-10, not sure yet, June or July 2014. I know this is a bit early, but I’d like to have an idea of the cost of a 3-5 day Amazon river tour, all in Peruvian waters to see as much as possible. A fairly nice vessel would be good, most of us are over 50, but still kicking, kayakers and canoists.
