The Dawn on the Amazon Explorers Club Lounge is making slow progress to get where we want to be.
We have been trying to get a lot done since before Christmas but it has been impossible. Maybe we have broken through. The tables chairs and lamps we bought in Lima on December 20th are finally supposed to be flown in this weekend, and delivered on Monday.
The cases of Pilsen and Cusqueña beer that we ordered a week ago were delivered two days ago and put in our new refrigerator last night. Matt and I shared a Cusqueña tonight and it was cold.
The price will be S/5 soles for the 630 mil. Iquiteña and the 650 mil. Pilsen, and S/6 soles for the 620 mil. Cusqueña. The smaller 315 mil. bottles of Iquiteña and the 330 mil. Pilsen and Cusqueña, will all be S/4 soles.
We have a new 1500 watt, microwave oven. Two of my carpenters raised a shelf on the cabinet so that the microwave, coffee maker, tea water boiler, blender and the juicer all fit under the shelf. They also added 4 shelves to better display the Rainforest Herbal Products.
Our plan for an awning for shade and rain protection has been approved and tomorrow we should know how much it will cost to make and install. I imagine it will be blue and white stripes to match the building if those colors are an option, with Dawn on the Amazon Explorers Club Jungle Juice Bar across the front. It should have a crank to raise and lower as conditions change.
The Dawn on the Amazon Explorers Club Lounge and Jungle Juice Bar are slowly coming together.
Bill Grimes has a Dawn on the Amazon cruise coming back to Iquitos tomorrow afternoon.
