Hello Dottie, live grubs are fine for hunter gatherers, but I bet Dave will prefer them simmered in a nice wine sauce. Here is my dilemma...Marmelita and Judy do not use recipes, they just know. How am I supposed to post a recipe of the week and publish a cook book with no recipes? Maybe you can help transcribe "a little of this and a pinch of that" on your next expedition in March.

Our meals were absolutely wonderful. My only regret is that we didn't have suri - perhaps next time? Shirley and I tried some live grubs while hiking - not so good. I really miss camu camu juice and I have a recipe for Inchicapi soup I may try this weekend. Would Marmelita share hers? Dottie
